# Can't apply for WhatsApp Business API?​

​According to WhatsApp's commercial policies, you may be ineligible to apply for WhatsApp Business API if you sell certain restricted products. These include pharmaceuticals and regulated items (such as prescription drugs, OTC medications, herbal remedies, and other medical supplies), tobacco and alcohol products, gambling services, firearms and weapons, explosives and flammable materials, transactions involving human or animal organs, adult products and services, as well as animals, plants, and related products.
